Ron Davies passed away on Oct 30th, 2003.  For more information please click here.

Ron Davies was a poet, songwriter and performer who lived in Nashville, Tennessee. Ron’s biggest hit - It Ain’t Easy - was recorded by at least 6 different artists, including David Bowie and Three Dog Night. His songs were also recorded by an array of other artists such as Joan Baez, Joe Cocker, Randy Travis, Jerry Jeff Walker, Ricky Scaggs, Long John Baldry, Vince Gill, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, and so many more...
Ron's first two albums - “Silent Song Through The Land” and “U.F.O.” - are collector's items and are currently in reproduction. These limited edition Japanese pressings have been digitally remastered and feature the original tracks packaged in a paper sleeve (Universal 2005).
British blues icon Long John Baldry was scheduled to re-release his 1971 "It Ain't Easy" album and embark on his 2005 "It Ain't Easy" tour, when he succumbed to a chest infection and abruptly left us to join Ron instead. Someday, if we're lucky, we will get to hear their duet of It Ain't Easy . Until then, we should consider ourselves Lucky to be Alive .
