The Mystery of Ron Davies - A Pacific Northwest Tribute
In 2010, Eric Apoe (instigated by Ron Bailey) decided to compile a tribute album to his long-time friend Ron Davies. "The Mystery of Ron Davies" tribute CD, featuring over 50 Seattle artists and musicians and produced by Eric Apoe, will be released Sunday, June 26th at Hale’s Palladium in Seattle, 7pm-11pm, $10. Most of the artists on the album will be performing at the show and all profits go to benefit MusiCares, a
non-profit organization dedicated to a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need.

Before British blues icon Long John Baldry passed away in 2005, he was due to re-release his album It Ain’t Easy - first released in 1971 and named after the 4th cut on the album, "It Ain’t Easy", written by Ron. One
side is produced by Elton John, the other side by Rod Stewart, and the disc contains added bonus material. Sadly, Baldry passed away July 21, 2005, after succumbing to a chest infection, and before he could begin the scheduled 2005 "It Ain’t Easy" tour.
